Is AllRoutes compatible with my existing OpenAI code?
Yes, fully. AllRoutes is 100% OpenAI SDK compatible. Just change your base URL to api.allroutes.ai/v1 and swap in your AllRoutes API key. Your existing code works instantly with every model from every provider — no rewrites needed.
How does pricing work?
Pay-as-you-go with credits. Choose a plan tier for platform features, then pay only for the tokens you consume. No markup on model pricing. BYOK usage is always 0% commission. Credits never expire.
What is BYOK?
Bring Your Own Key means you use your own provider API keys (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, etc.) through AllRoutes. You pay providers directly, we charge 0% commission. You still get routing, caching, analytics, and fallbacks.
Do credits expire?
No, credits never expire. Use them whenever you need them.
Can I change plans?
Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade at any time. Changes take effect immediately. If you upgrade mid-cycle, you'll be prorated. If you downgrade, the change applies at the start of your next billing period.
Is there a free trial?
The Free tier is always free — no credit card required. Pro and Team plans include a 14-day free trial so you can explore all features before committing.
How is AllRoutes different from OpenRouter?

Can I self-host AllRoutes?
Yes, AllRoutes is open source. You can self-host the gateway on your own infrastructure for complete data control. Enterprise plans also include a managed on-premise deployment option with dedicated support.
Is my data safe?
Zero Data Retention by default. Prompts and completions are never logged unless you explicitly opt in. Provider-level data policies are enforced. EU data residency is available on Team and Enterprise plans.
